The ideas of people about God and how He works fascinate me. Everyone wants to prove or dispute the existence of a higher power that controls and oversees us, mere mortals. Every events and happening in our personal lives always spark the question, “Do you believe in God?” I mean, personally, I couldn’t care less if there’s someone who conducts our very own actions that create constant ripple effects on every possible scenario in our reality, or someone who has written our very own destiny from the very start until the day the reaper comes and takes our lives away. I couldn’t care less if everything is just the product of the big bang or a later stage of the evolution of a single bacteria that eventually, understood mathematics, science, and technology that made our modern society today. “Do you believe in God?” is a question that has no right or wrong answer. Even though I, have my own set of beliefs, I still don’t think I’m a hundred percent right or I’m making a huge mistake about having it. It’s all irrelevant. What I really want to ask myself at this point is would God believe in me? Would the almighty care about my life and tinker it for something grand because He believes in me? Am I worthy of His grace that I have the breath of life and every opportunity to make my stay worthwhile? Do the higher powers that reside and manipulate the universe believe in me so much, that they made me a human, and placed me in this universe, in this solar system, in this planet, in this country, in this city, at the same timeline as you do? Do the God ever was or will be really thought that I’ll be needing you for the rest of my life, that He made your parents meet, fall in love, and eventually have you so that I can have someone to hold during the darkest times? If that is so, everything isn’t just a mere coincidence, but an actual hand of God that works in mysterious ways. It was so perfect that an imperfect and uniquely odd person, made God care, and gave me you — or I am just a pawn or a gear in a well-oiled machine called life. Maybe I need to experience and have you so that things that we can’t comprehend fall into place, and miracles could take place for another human being.
